HSL in international cooperation
HSL co-operates with or is a member of the following international organizations:
EMTA
EMTA - European Metropolitan Transport Authorities - brings together the authorities responsible for public transport in the main European cities. It promotes the exchange of information and good practices in the field of public transport organizing, planning and funding.
UITP
The International Association of Public Transport (UITP) is a worldwide network of public transport professionals. UITP represents over 2700 urban, local, regional and national mobility actors from more than 90 countries on all continents.
UITP covers all modes of public transport - metro, bus, light rail, regional and suburban railways and waterborne transport. It also represents collective transport in a broader sense (for instance car-sharing). In addition, UITP is currently further expanding its presence on the mobility market, including the taxi sector.
