Jouko neighbourhood routes and service routes
HSL operates service routes in Espoo, Kauniainen and Vantaa, as well as Jouko neighbourhood routes in Helsinki.
You can travel on the service routes and Jouko routes with regular public transport tickets.
Three Jouko routes operate on a demand responsive basis, i.e. you can book a bus ride and the bus will pick you up from your stop.
How to book a ride
Three Jouko routes. J60. J74 and J84, and service route P80 in Espoo operate on a demand responsive basis, i.e. you can book a bus ride and the bus will pick you up from your stop. To book a bus ride, call the Travel Information Centre, tel. (09) 4766 4000. You can book a ride using your home address or the address, number or name of a bus stop. A local network charge is charged with no additional call charges.
In Helsinki, the demand responsive routes are J60 (Hakaniemi, Pasila, Kumpula, Koskela, Maunula, Pakila), J74 (Jakomäki, Puistola, Malmi) and J84 (Laajasalo, Jollas, Tammisalo). Bus J60 operates on weekday between 7am and 5.30pm, route j74 between 8am and 4pm and route J84 between 7.30am and 3.30pm.
In Espoo, demand responsive route P80 serves passengers in Espoon keskus, Tuomarila, Suvela, Suna, Kuuriniity, Ymmersta, Kaupunginkallio, Mikkelä, Muurala, Miilukorve, Vesirattaanmäki, Pitkäniitty, Karhusuo, Hirvisuo, Nupuri, Kauklahti and Näkinkylä. The route operates between 9.30am and 3pm on weekdays.
When booking, please give your name, the number of passengers, place of departure, destination and the time at which you wish to arrive. It is also good to tell about possible mobility aids and large bags. You can book both outward and return journeys with one call. You can book a ride at earliest two weeks before the desired date and at latest one hour before the desired departure time.
The demand responsive bus services pick up passengers only at regular public transport stops. You can travel with regular tickets purchased either with a Travel Card or by cash.
