Loading your Travel Card

Regardless of your domicile, you can load your Travel Card at all R-kiosks in Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa, Kauniainen, Kerava, Kirkkonummi and Sipoo as well as at Travel Card service points, HSL ticket machines, Stockmann department stores, K-Citymarkets, Prisma stores and VR’s booking offices and ticket machines. Travel Cards can be loaded also at other sales points, e.g. S-markets, Alepa stores, K-supermarkets and kiosks displaying the Travel Card sign.
 

Loading a season ticket

You can load on your Travel Card a season ticket for any period between two weeks and one year (14-366 days).

You can also load two consecutive periods on the Travel Card, with at the most 60 days between the periods. The tickets are priced separately. The validity of the period can begin immediately or within 1–60 days from the moment of purchase.

The price of a season ticket consists of a 14 day basic fare and the price of extra days for the 15-352 days following.

Loading value

You can also load value for occasional journeys. Value tickets cost less than single tickets purchased from the drivers. The amount of value loaded into the card can be between 5 and 400 euros.
