Lost Travel Cards
If you have lost your Travel Card, you can contact the Travel Card customer service, tel. (09) 4766 4000 (Mon-Fri 6am-7pm, Sat-Sun 9am-5pm). You can also contact a Travel Card service point.
You can report a lost card and the card can be cancelled by your personal identity number. You do not need to know your card number. A Travel Card can be cancelled either by calling (09) 4766 4000 or visiting a Travel Card service point.
A cancelled Travel Card cannot be used for traveling nor can it be loaded with period tickets and/or value. Card charge will not be refunded in case a Travel Card is cancelled.
Period tickets and value left on a lost card can be transferred to a new card at a Travel Card service point. The period ticket left on a card will be transferred to a new card from the day on which you come to the Travel Card service point to take care of the matter. A processing fee will be charged for the transfer in addition to the card charge for the new card.
Please note!
A multi-user Travel Card can be cancelled only if the owner's personal data or the company's business ID has been stored on the card. The information has to be stored on the card at a Travel Card service point when the card is issued; it cannot be done later on. Kiosks selling multi-user Travel Cards cannot enter personal information on the card.
