Commuter vouchers

Commuter vouchers are a convenient way of providing employees with employer-subsidized commuter tickets. All interested employers can purchase commuter vouchers worth EUR10. Commuter vouchers are a good option for example for temporary employees and those who cycle to work in the summer months – or in general for all those for whom a continuously valid commuter ticket is not suitable.

The employer purchases the vouchers from HSL and distributes them to the employees.  Employees can use the vouchers when loading season tickets or value on their personal Travel Cards.

Paying with commuter vouchers

HSL’s commuter vouchers can be used for payment at Travel Card service points, R-kiosks, Stockmann department stores, K-citymarkets and VR’s booking offices in the Helsinki metropolitan area. Other kiosks that load Travel Cards do not accept the vouchers.

Commuter vouchers are personal. You will be asked to provide a proof of identity. Write your name on the back of the voucher in the space reserved for it. The vouchers cannot be used for paying direct debit season tickets.
