Tickets for the neighboring municipalities

Do you commute by bus to Hyvinkää, Inkoo, Järvenpää, Karjalohja, Karkkila, Lohja, Mäntsälä, Nurmijärvi, Pornainen, Porvoo, Raasepori, Siuntio, Tuusula tai Vihti? Residents of HSL municipalities can purchase commuter tickets for these municipalities at a subsidized price. HSL reimburses the subsidy, i.e. discount granted to the residents of HSL municipalities , to the neighboring municipalities.  The tickets for the neighboring municipalities entitle you to travel by bus from Helsinki, Espoo, Kerava, Kirkkonummi or Vantaa to the neighboring municipality in question.
 
The tickets area loaded on a Matkahuolto travel card.  You can purchase the card at the Matkahuolto service point in Kamppi or in the municipality in question.  You need to have with you an identification document with photograph. Your home municipality and basic journey details will be noted on the purchase receipt.
 
You can load the Matkahuolto travel card at Matkahuolto service points, R-kiosks and on the buses where the card is accepted.
 
At the moment, residents of HSL municipalities can purchase commuter tickets for the following neighboring municipalities: Nurmijärvi, Tuusula, Hyvinkää, Inkoo, Järvenpää, Karjalohja, Karkkila, Lohja, Mäntsälä, Pornainen, Porvoo, Raasepori, Siuntio and Vihti.
