Bus services

HSL is responsible for the planning of bus routes and timetables in its member municipalities. In addition to providing city internal services and regional services across municipal boundaries, HSL also has concluded joint ticketing agreements for so called U line buses. 

HSL selects bus operators on the basis of competitive tendering. The names of bus operators are shown at the bottom of timetables for each route.
