Creating new Helsinki
The disruption to the Metro service is due to construction work on Kalasatama center. The center constructed around the Metro station will be completed by 2021.The developer, SRV, constructs a commercial center and tower blocks. The center will also include city-owned public premises. The center will form the heart of the Kalasatama residential and business district. The center is constructed through cooperation between public and private sectors.
