Track works in July

This summer, track works around the city will divert tram services. The works affect in particular the tram routes running along Mannerheimintie in July.

Near the Opera house, at the intersection of Mannerheimintie and Runeberginkatu, track work will be carried out from 7 through 13 July. The ‘Kansallismuseo’, ‘Hesperian puisto’ and ‘Ooppera’ tram stops will not be served. The tram route operating along Mannerheimintie will be diverted to Runeberginkatu. Tram 8 will run via Eläintarha.

The renovation of the Tilkka Bridge will affect tram route 10 from 7 through 22 July. The tram will only run to Kuusitie, from where bus 10X will take passengers to Pikku Huopalahti.

Tram tracks on Mannerheimintie between the Opera and Hesperia Park will be renovated between 14 and 29 July. During the renovation, tram routes will be diverted to Runeberginkatu.

In July, tram routes 3B, 3T, 4, 4T, 7A, 7B, 8 and 10 will operate a reduced service.

There is track work also on the Vantaankoski rail line from 2 through 26 July. Some M trains run only to/from Myyrmäki.
