Transport services in the Helsinki region at Midsummer

On Midsummer Eve, Friday 25 June, all transport services in the Helsinki region will operate a Saturday service. On Midsummer Day, a Sunday service will start around 11am. The Suomenlinna ferry and commuter trains services will operate right from the morning.

Bus 24 to Seurasaari will operate additional service on Midsummer Eve. The last departure from Erottaja will be at 1.10am and from Seurasaari at 1.35am.

Beginning from 3pm on Midsummer Eve bus 24 will run to Seurasaari along the following route: Paciuksenkatu - Meilahdentie - Tamminiementie - Seurasaari terminus.

Early morning buses 01N – 09N, night buses to east Helsinki 85N – 97N and night buses 100N-710N will operate on the nights between Friday and Saturday and Saturday and Sunday. 

Several regional bus routes and some Espoo and Vantaa internal bus routes will operate a Sunday service with additional departures before 11am and after normal Sunday service.

HSL’s service points and Traffic Information

On the eve of Midsummer Eve, Thursday 24 June, HSL’s service point at the Central Railway Station will close at 5pm. The service point in Itäkeskus will be open until 5.15pm.  Both service points will be closed on Midsummer Eve and Midsummer Day.

Traffic Information Centre, tel. 0100 111, will serve on Midsummer Eve and Midsummer Day from 9am to 5pm.
