Trams 7A and 7B and bus 16 on diversion 2-3 April due to Via Crucis

On the evenings of Good Friday 2 April and Saturday 3 April, tram routes 7A and 7B are on diversion due to the traditional Easter event Via Crucis. 

On both evenings, trams 7A and 7B run via Kaisaniemenkatu and Kaivokatu instead of Kruununhaka and Aleksanterinkatu approximately from 9pm to 10.30pm.

Bus 16 runs to Herttoniemi along the following route: Mannerheimintie – Kaivokatu – Kaisaniemenkatu – Liisankatu. To Hernesaari, the route runs along Liisankatu, Kaisaniemenkatu, Vilhonkatu, Mikonkatu, Kaivokatu and Mannerheimintie.

The procession leaves from Kaisaniemi Park and travels along Unionkatu and Rauhankatu to Säätytalo (House of Estates) and further to the Helsinki Cathedral.
