Tram route 8 replaced by bus in Ruoholahti

Tram route 8 will not operate in Ruoholahti from 24 to 26 May due to track work at the junction of Itämerenkatu and Mechelininkatu.

Tram 8 will travel from Apollonkatu stop in Töölö along Runeberginkatu, Arkadiankatu and Mannerheimintie to the terminus of tram 9 in Kolmikulma.

Replacement bus service 8X runs between Salmisaari and Apollonkatu to the timetable of tram 8. Bus 8X will use tram stops only by Marian sairaala. Otherwise the bus will use existing bus stops or temporary stops. However, there will be no replacement stops for the pair of stops on Itämerenkatu close to the Mechelinkatu junction.
