Switch to summer timetables 7 June

Helsinki region bus services, trams and commuter trains will switch over to summer timetables on Monday 7 June. The Metro and Jouko neighbourhood routes will continue to run to winter timetables. A number or route changes will take place at the beginning of summer service.

Changes to bus routes from 7 June

Helsinki

• Bus 87, Herttoniemi (M)-Laajasalo oil harbour is discontinued because oil companies have ceased their operations in the Laajasalo oil harbour.
• Buses 55A and 55AK run to Hietaniemi also on weekdays between 8am and 7pm from 7 June to 13 August.
• Early morning bus 09N is rerouted in Käpylä and Oulunkylä. The new route is Käpyläntie - Kullervonkatu - Panuntie - Mäkitorpantie - Norrtäljentie - Käskynhaltijantie - Pakilantie. (Map, 511 kb)
• Jouko neighbourhood route J20 is rerouted in Vattuniemi to run along Meripuistontie and Heikkiläntie. A new bus route J21 runs from Katajaharju to Ruoholahti along the route of bus J20 and then along Santakatu to Maria Hospital. (Map, 3,207 kb)
• The route of bus J99 is extended to Uutela. In Aurinkolahti, the bus begins to run via Leikosaaarentie and Aurinkotuulenkatu. (Map, 3,622 kb)
• The catchment area of bus J84 (demand responsive service) is extended to Kulosaari and Tahvonlahti.  (Map 3,043 kb) 
• Departure platforms change at the bus terminal at Herttoniemi metro station on 7 June. New departure platforms

Espoo

• The route of bus 25A changes; the new route runs straight along Pitkäjärventie. (Map, 606 kb).

Vantaa

• Bus 68 starts to run via Porttipuisto also when going to Tikkurila.(Map, 622 kb)

Changes to regional bus routes

• Bus 165K is renumbered 165V and rerouted to run straight along Länsiväylä without going via Merituulentie, Kuitinmäentie and Martinsilta. (Map, 602 kb).
• Bus 195N is rerouted to run via Eestinlaakso and Nöykkiönlaakso. (Map, 548 kb)
• The route of bus 213 is extended to Kauklahti station. (Map, 454 kb)
• The route of bus 270N is extended from Tuomarila to Kuurinniitty. (Map, 315 kb)
• The route of bus 520 changes. The bus no longer serves bus stops V5305, V5337 and V5316 on Ilmailutie and the terminus of the bus moves from the technical area of the airport to the airport. (Map, 898 kb)
• The route of bus 615 changes: the bus stops at 'Teletie' (V5310) bus stop and the terminus at the airport shifts from terminal T2 to terminal T1
• Bus 615N is renumbered 620N;  following the change also Helsinki internal journeys are possible. Bus 620N operates between 11pm and 4am.
• Departure platforms change by terminal T1 at the airport. Buses 615 and 620N depart from platform 2, bus 61 departs from platform 3 and buses 51, 415, 451, 514, 519, 520, 535 and 841 depart from platform 4.
