Procurement of tasks concerning the planning of public transport services under framework agreement
The Executive Board decided on the suppliers of planning tasks in a competition consisting of three parts. The suppliers selected based on the Most Economically Advantageous Tender criteria are: part 1) Planning tasks: Ramboll Finland Oy, Sitowise Oy, Sweco Infra and Rail Oy and WSP Finland Oy, part 2) Infrastructure: Ramboll Finland Oy, Sitowise Oy, Sweco Infra and Rail Oy and WSP Finland Oy and part 3) Impact assessments: Flou Oy, Ramboll Finland Oy, Sitowise Oy, Sweco Infra and Rail Oy and WSP Finland Oy. The framework agreements are valid for a maximum of five years and the total costs are approximately EUR 1.8 million (VAT excluded).
Cost savings in bus services in autumn
The Executive Board decided to approve cost-saving principles in bus services for the winter season 2021-2022. The savings will have a wide impact on the services in the entire HSL area. Savings will be achieved by e.g. having faster journey times, reducing services during peak times and reducing service frequency. The Executive Board authorized the Executive Director to decide on subsequent changes to winter services 2021-2022.

Changes in meeting schedules due to postponement of municipal elections
The Executive Board decided on an exceptional meeting schedule caused by the postponement of municipal elections. The term of the current Executive Board and Audit Committee will continue in August until new elected officials have been selected. According to a preliminary plan, the new members of the Executive Board and Audit Committee will be selected by the General Meeting on 24 August 2021. HSL’s Executive Director was authorized to postpone the General Meeting, if necessary. Detailed meeting schedules are recorded in the meeting minutes.
