Disruptions to bus and tram services in downtown Helsinki on 1 June

There are disruptions to bus and tram services in downtown Helsinki on 1 June due to an overhead wire issue. For the moment being, the best mode of transport in downtown Helsinki is the metro.

There are disruptions to bus and tram services in downtown Helsinki on 1 June to an overhead wire issue. 

All buses to the Railway Square (Rautatientori) turn around in Hakaniemi, i.e. the section of route from Pitkäsilta to the Railway Square is not served. Passengers are advised to use change to the metro in Hakaniemi.

Trams are not able to run between Kaivokatu and Sörnäinen and between Kaivokatu and Kaarlenkatu. There is currently no tram service in Kruununhaka.  

Trams 3, 6, 7 and 9 run from Helsinginkatu via Opera and Mannerheimintie to Bulevardi. Trams 7 and 9 run via Hietalahto to the West Terminal.

The disruptions are expected to continue for several hours.
