Service break on the night of 23 April

Some of our ticket sales and information services will be unavailable on the night of Tuesday 23 April between 11pm and 4am due to back-end system maintenance.

Back-end system maintenance will affect the following services on the night of 23 April between 11pm and 4am:

  • Vehicle departure times, service cancellations and disruption alerts are not updated in the Journey Planner and information displays at stops.
  • Sales points and HSL’s ticket machines are out of use.
  • The online HSL card service is unavailable and tickets purchased via the service cannot be transferred to HSL cards at card readers.
  • There may be short service breaks in the HSL app.

The following services will be available as normal:

  • Card readers on board vehicles and at stations
  • Card readers at Park & Ride facilities
  • Parking ticket machines in Helsinki, from which you can buy HSL tickets

You can prepare for the service break by:

  • buying single tickets in advance from sales points. Advance purchase single tickets loaded on disposable cards are valid from the time you show the card to a card reader at the beginning of your first journey.
  • by topping up your HSL card so that you can buy single tickets at card readers.
  • You can also travel using your HSL card or HSL app season ticket during the service break.
