HSL public transport services will switch to summer timetables on Monday 16 June. The new timetables are already available in the Journey Planner.
The switch to summer timetables will entail various changes, such as changes to service frequencies. Additionally, certain services will not operate due to the schools’ summer holiday period. There will also be service changes in many areas already before 16 June. Moreover, track work will affect some services also during the summer.
Changes to various services and area-specific information
In some parts of the HSL area, services will switch to summer timetables already before 16 June. For instance, from Monday 2 June to Friday 13 June, school bus routes will not operate, or they will run according to the timetables for the schools’ summer holiday period, or according to summer timetables after the summer holiday period has begun.
The following bus routes will switch to summer timetables already on 2 June:
- Routes 24, 25, 37, 41 and 42 in Helsinki – route 24 will operate additional services. Read more
- Siuntio bus routes will switch to summer timetables and undergo service changes from 2 June. Read more
- Bus routes in Kirkkonummi will switch to summer timetables and undergo changes from 2 June. Read more
Track work will impact public transport services during the summer
Track work will impact public transport services in different parts of the HSL area.
- Vuosaari and Rastila: There are currently no Metro services to Vuosaari or Rastila – we have increased bus services to the area. Read more
- Espoo and Kirkkonummi: There will be disruptions to Coastal Line train services west of Leppävaara from Monday 24 June to Sunday 28 July. Read more
- Tikkurila: There will be changes to K, I and P train services from 23 June due to track work in Tikkurila. Read more
- Hakaniemi: Trams are currently being diverted in Hakaniemi and will not cross the Pitkäsiltä Bridge. Read more
