We are temporarily lowering the prices of adult single tickets purchased with contactless payment for the summer. Between 28 May and 31 August, single tickets bought with contactless payment will cost the same as tickets purchased using the HSL app or HSL card.
From 28 May to 31 August 2025, the prices of adult single tickets purchased with contactless payment are as follows:
- Zones AB, BC, CD and D: €3.20
- Zones ABC and BCD: €4.40
- Zone ABCD: €4.80
To use contactless payment, you need a bank or credit card (Visa or Mastercard). First, select the zones on the card reader, then present your card to the reader. The ticket will be stored on your debit/credit card. More information: hsl.fi/en/contactless.
Since March, it has been possible to buy adult single tickets for all HSL transport services directly at card readers using contactless payment. This is especially convenient for visitors and occasional users of public transport. The tickets are valid for the same duration as other single tickets, which is 80 to 110 minutes, depending on the selected zones. The tickets also allow transfers to any other HSL transport services while valid.

In the summer months, the HSL area attracts many visitors, along with other occasional users of public transport for whom contactless payment offers an easy way to buy tickets. We want to encourage everyone to try buying tickets using contactless payment during this season," says Mari Flink, Director of the Market Division.
