Tram routes diverted due to a protest march on Wednesday 20 March

Tram routes will be diverted in downtown Helsinki due to a
protest march by students on Wednesday 20 March approximately from
1.15pm. The protesters will march from the Senate Square to
Parliament House. Trams will not be running along Aleksanterinkatu
during the protest.

Tram routes
1, 3B, 3T, 4, 7A and
7B will be diverted approximately from 1.15pm to
2.30pm.

Tram 1 will be running from Hakaniemi to Kolmikulma via the
Central Railway Station.

Tram 3B will be running from Fredrikinkatu to the terminus of
tram 1A in Eira. Tram 3T will be running from Simonkatu to the
terminus of tram 1A in Eira via Mannerheimintie, Bulevardi and
Fredrikinkatu.

Tram 4 will be running via the Central Railway Station to
Kruununhaka and Katajanokka.

Trams 7A and 7B will be running via the Central Railway Station
instead of Kruununhaka.

The protest march may cause delays to bus route 24. If traffic
gets backed up on Mannerheimintie, the bus will run along tram
tracks, when possible.
