Suomenlinna ferries switch to summer timetables on 30
April
The ferries to Suomenlinna switch to summer timetables on May
Eve 30 April. There are ferries from the Market Square every 20
minutes Mon-Fri, at weekends every 15 minutes at peak times. The
summer timetables will run until 15 September.
HSL opens its ticket office at the Market Square ferry terminal
on Saturday 27 April. Until the end of April, the office is open
from 9.30am to 5pm. In May, the office is open Mon-Fri 7.45am-6pm,
at weekends 9.15am-6pm. From the beginning of June, the ticket
office is open every day from 9.15am to 6pm until mid-August.
Ferry tickets can be purchased also from the ticket
machines located in front of the ticket office at the Market
Square. Both Helsinki internal and regional tickets are accepted on
the ferries. Separate Suomenlinna tickets are accepted only on the
ferries (i.e. with Suomenlinna tickets you cannot change to other
modes of transport) and they are valid for 12 hours. Tickets are
not sold on the ferries.
