Reduced M train service throughout the summer
M trains will be running at 20-minutes intervals from 17 June to
11 August due to track work on the Vantaankoski rail line. Only one
track will be in use in Myyrmäki and Malminkartano.
Trains not running to Vantaankoski in July
In July, the northbound trains will not run beyond Pohjois-Haaga
11 – 17 July. During this time, train services between
Pohjois-Haaga and Vantaankoski will be replaced by buses.
Train services will be replaced by buses:
499 Pohjois-Haaga station–Myyrmäki–Vantaankoski
48 Pohjois-Haaga station (Kaupintie)–Kannelmäki
49 Pohjois-Haaga station–Malminkartano
The buses will meet trains arriving at the Pohjois-Haaga
station. The buses will stop only at the stops close to train
stations. Travel times will be 10-20 minutes longer than usual.
There are also several other bus routes that can be used instead
of the trains. For example, buses 452, 453, 39 and 516 go from
Myyrmäki and Martinlaakso to Helsinki.
