Public transport over the Midsummer weekend

On Thursday 20 June, a Thursday service will
operate with the exception of commuter trains which will operate a
Friday service.

On Midsummer Eve, Friday 21 June, a Saturday
service will operate. Early morning services will operate on the
Friday/Saturday night. 

There will be additional service to Seurasaari on route 24S. The
bus will run from Erottaja to Seurasaari every six minutes from 4pm
onwards. The last service from Seurasaari will leave at
01.34am.

Bus 24S will run from Erottaja via Mannerheimintie and Pohjoinen
Rautatienkatu to Mechelininkatu.  The bus will not run via
Hietaniemi. 

Also bus 24 will be running to Seurasaari; the bus will operate
a normal Saturday service. 

On Midsummer Eve, U line buses will operate a Saturday service
until 1pm, after which only some of the U line buses will run.

On Midsummer Day, Saturday 22 June, a Sunday
service will operate. Only some U line buses will operate.

Metro and tram service will start at about 11am while bus
services will start to operate at 10.45am. Commuter trains and the
ferry to Suomenlinna will operate right from the morning.

Tram 9 will operate a special timetable from 8am – 11am to meet
the timetables of ferries arriving at the West Terminal.

Early morning services will operate on the Saturday/Sunday
night.

Additional bus services on Midsummer Day

The following additional trains will be running on the
Saturday/Sunday night:

I trains from Helsinki at 10.46pm, 11.16pm and 11.46pm.
I trains from Tikkurila at 11.46pm and 0.16am.
N trains from Helsinki at 0.01am, 1.01am, 2.01am and
3.01am
N trains from Kerava at 0.45am, 1.45am, 2.45am and 3.45am
T trains from Helsinki at 2.31am and 4.01am
T trains from Riihimäki at 0.37am and 1.37am
H train from Riihimäki at 11.14pm
L trains from Helsinki at 2.47am and 3.47am.

 
On Sunday 24 June, a normal Sunday service will
operate.
