HKL starts to dismantle platform screen doors at Vuosaari metro station on 16 March. The works will take two weeks.
During this time, the Metro uses one track at the Vuosaari station. The track to the north of the station is closed. The Metro operates along the track on the Vuotie side of the station, i.e. the trains arrive at and depart from the same track. The works do not affect the Metro service frequency.
The platform screen doors related to the Metro automation project are dismantled because the Metro services continue to be driver operated for the foreseeable future.
