There will be major changes to bus routes in Otaniemi from 18 December. Otaniementie will be closed to traffic between Vuorimiehentie and Tietotie due to construction work causing changes to nearly all bus routes in Otaniemi.
In addition to the changes to routes, the Teekkarikylä departure stop for routes 15, 102, 102T, 501V and 552 terminating in Otaniemi will be moved to the Jämeräntaival intersection.
The arrangements are due to major construction works to refurbish the Aalto University campus. The diversion routes will remain in place until August 2016, when the West Metro will start operating and the new Espoo bus network will be introduced. Construction work on the campus will continue even after that.

Changes to routes in Otaniemi
Buses 10 and 10K
The buses will run via Puumiehenkuja and Konemiehentie between Otakaari and Tietotie. The Konemiehentie bus stops E2213 and E2217 on Otaniementie will not be served.
Bus 15
The bus will run via Dipoli between Teekkarikylä and Otaniementie. The departure stop of the bus will be moved to the Jämeräntaival intersection. The Sähkömies (E2222, E2207) and Teknillinen korkeakoulu (E2222, E2207) bus stops on Otakaari will not be served.
Buses 102 and 102T
The buses will run from Teekkarikylä clockwise along Otakaari (via Dipoli) to Otaniementie, turn at the roundabout at the junction of Otaniementie and Vuorimiehentie and continue to Helsinki along Otaniementie. The departure stop of the buses will be moved to the Jämeräntaival intersection. The Sähkömies (E2222, E2207) and Teknillinen korkeakoulu (E2222, E2207) bus stops on Otakaari will not be served.
Buses 103 and 103T
The buses will run from the Ring Road I intersection along Tekniikantie to Vuorimiehentie, from where they will turn to Otaniementie and continue to Helsinki. The Tietotie bus stops E2218 and E2219 will not be served. The Konemiehentie bus stops E2213 and E2217 on Otaniementie will not be served. In future, the buses will stop at the Vuorimies bus stops E2211 and E2212 located on Vuorimiehentie.
Buses 194, 194A and 195
There are no changes to the route.
Bus 195N
The bus will run from Karhusaarentie to Otaniementie, turn to Otakaari after the Otakallio bus stop and continue along Puumiehenkuja, Konemiehentie and Tietotie to Tekniikantie and Tapiolantie. In addition, the Alvar Aallon puisto (E2224) bus stop on Otaniementie and Kemisti (E2225) bus stop on Vuorimiehentie will not be served.
Bus 501V
The bus will run from Teekkarikylä clockwise along Otakaari (via Dipoli) to Otaniementie, turn at the roundabout at the junction of Otaniementie and Vuorimiehentie and continue to Helsinki along Otaniementie. The departure stop of the bus will be moved to the Jämeräntaival intersection. The Sähkömies (E2222, E2207) and Teknillinen korkeakoulu (E2222, E2207) bus stops on Otakaari will not be served.
Bus 506
The bus will run from the Ring Road I intersection along Tekniikantie to Vuorimiehentie, from where it will turn to Otaniementie and continue to Helsinki. The Tietotie bus stops E2218 and E2219 will not be served. The Konemiehentie bus stops E2213 and E2217 on Otaniementie will not be served. In future, the bus will stop at the Vuorimies bus stops E2211 and E2212 located on Vuorimiehentie.
Bus 510 The bus will run from the Ring Road I intersection along Tekniikantie to Vuorimiehentie, from where it will turn to Otaniementie and continue to Keilaniemi. The Tietotie bus stops E2218 and E2219 will not be served. The Konemiehentie bus stops E2213 and E2217 on Otaniementie will not be served. In future, the bus will stop at the Kemisti (E2225 and E2229) and Vuorimies (E2211 and E2212) bus stops located on Vuorimiehentie.
Trunk route 550 The buses will run in both directions along Tekniikantie, calling at the Kemisti (E2225 and E2229) bus stops at the end of Vuorimiehentie. The buses will turn at the roundabout at the junction of Vuorimiehentie and Otaniementie, return to Tekniikantie and continue either to Westendinasema (Tapiola) or Itäkeskus (Leppävaara). The Konemiehentie bus stops (E2213 and E2217) on Otaniementie will not be served.
Bus 552 The bus will run from Teekkarikylä clockwise along Otakaari (via Dipoli) to Otaniementie, turn at the roundabout at the junction of Otaniementie and Vuorimiehentie and continue to Munkkiniemi along Otaniementie. The departure stop of the bus will be moved to the Jämeräntaival intersection. The Sähkömies (E2222, E2207) and Teknillinen korkeakoulu (E2222, E2207) bus stops on Otakaari will not be served.
