Diversions to bus routes and tram routes 4 and 10 in downtown Helsinki on 1 February

Some bus routes as well as tram routes 4 and 10 will be diverted between the Opera and Parliament House on Thursday 1 February 12noon-1pm due to Presidential Inauguration.

Buses going to Elielinaukio will run from Töölö depot to the city center along tram tracks. The buses will serve tram stops along the route. From the city center, the buses will run as usual.

  • The “Hesperian puisto” (1908) and “Kansallismuseo” (1906) bus stops will not be served.

Buses running to the Kamppi local bus terminal from Mannerheimintie will run via Runeberginkatu and Eteläinen Rautatiekatu.  From Kamppi, the buses will run along Eteläinen Rautatiekatu, Arkadiankatu, Runeberginkatu and Topeliuksenkatu to Mannerheimintie. 

  • The following stops will not be served: “Pohjoinen Rautatiekatu” (1273), “Kansallismuseo” (1906 and 1907), “Hesperian puisto” (1908 and 1911), “Töölön Kisahalli” (1915), “Kansaneläkelaitos” (1917) and “Töölön tulli” (1921).

In addition, buses running to the Kamppi long-distance terminal will run via Runeberginkatu.  From Kamppi, the buses will run along Arkadiankatu and Runeberginkatu (Topeliuksenkatu, Haartmaninkatu) to their own routes along Mannerheimintie, Tukholmankatu or Helsinginkatu.

  • The following stops will not be served: “Pohjoinen Rautatiekatu” (1273), “Hesperian puisto” (1908 and 1909), “Kansallismuseo” (1906 and 1907) “Ooppera” (1999), “Töölön Kisahalli” (1915), “Kansaneläkelaitos” (1917), “Töölön Tulli” (1921) and “Tukholmankatu” (1381).

Trams 4 and 10 will run along Runeberginkatu and Arkadiankatu in both directions.

  • The “Hesperianpuisto” (0105 and 0106) and “Kansallismuseo” (0103 and 0104) tram stops will not be served. The trams will serve all stops along the diversion route.
