Diversions to public transport in downtown Helsinki, Vallila and Pasila on Saturday 9 June due to large events

There will be diversions to public transport on Saturday 9 June due to Helsinki Half Marathon and in the afternoon Helsinki Samba Carnaval.

Tram route 9 and bus 58 diverted about 9.30am-11.30am

Helsinki Half Marathon runners will run along Teollisuuskatu about 9.30am-11.30am and buses and trams will not be able to trun at the intersectio of Teollisuuskatu and Jämsänkatu.

Tram 9 will not serve the section of route between  Kaarlenkatu and Pasila station. Instead, the tram will run via Urheilutalo to Sturenkatu, from where it will continue to its temporary terminus by Paavalinkirkko (St. Paul's Church).
The tram will not serve the following stops: "Helsinginkatu", "Fleminginkatu", "Sturenkatu", "Kotkankatu", "Pasilan konepaja", "Jämsänkatu", "Asemapäällikönäkatu", "Kellosilta", "Messukeskus", "Pasilan asema"

Diversion route of tram 9 on Sat 9 June about 9.30am-11.30

Bus 58 will run in both directions along Teollisuuskatu, Ratapihantie and Pasilansilta. The bus will serve the "Teollisuuskatu" (H2105) and "Pasilansilta" (H2012) stops on Ratapihantie. These are the stops closest to Pasila station.
The bus will not serve the "Jämsänkatu" and "Pasilan asema" bus stops.

Diversion route of bus 58 on Sat 9 June 9.30am-11.30

Trams 2, 3, 4, 5 and 7 diverted 2.45am-6pm

Helsinki Samba Carnaval will take place on Saturday 9 June 3pm-6pm. The parade will leave from the Senate Square and make its way along Unioninkatu, Pohjoisesplanadi and Mannerheimintie to Aleksanterinkatu. Tram routes will be diverted in downtown Helsinki about 2.45pm-6pm.

Tram 2 will be diverted in both directions between Lasipalatsi and Olympia Terminal.
From Länsi-Pasila to Olympia Terminal, the tram will run along Arkadiankatu, Mannerheimintie, Bulevardi, Fredrikinkatu, Laivurinkatu and Tehtaankatu to Olympia Terminal
From Olympia Terminal to Länsi-Pasila, the tram will run along Laivasillankatu via Eteläranta and the Market Square, from where it will continue along Katariinankatu, Snellmaninkatu, Liisankatu and Kaisaniemenkatu to Central Railway Station and along Arkadiankatu to its normal route
The following stops will not be served: "Ylioppilastalo" (on Aleksanterinkatu), "Aleksanterinkatu", "Senaatintori", "Kauppatori" (in the direction of Olympia Terminal), "Eteläranta" (in the direction of Olympia Terminal), "Olympiaterminaali" (in the direction of Tehtaankatu)

Tram 3 will run to Olympia Terminal as usual. In the direction of Meilahti, the tram will be diverted to run along Laivasillankatu via Eteläranta and the Market Square to Snellmaninkatu, Liisankatu and Hakaniemi to its normal route.
The following stops will not be served in the direction of Meilahti: "Olympiaterminaali", "Kaivopuisto", "Neitsytpolku", "Kapteeninkatu", "Eiran sairaala", "Viiskulma", "Iso Roobertinkatu", "Fredrikinkatu", "Erottaja", "Ylioppilastalo", "Rautatieasema", "Kaisaniemenkatu", "Kaisaniemenpuisto"

Trams 2 and 3 will run only in one direction in southern Helsinki (counter clockwise=) and change route numbers at the Olympia Terminal.

Tram 4 will run in both directions via the Central Railway Station, Liisankatu and Snellmaninkatu. The following stops will not be served: "Ylioppilastalo", "Aleksanterinkatu" and "Senaatintori"

Tram 5 will run from Kolmikulma via the Central Railway Station, Liisankatu and Snellmaninkatu to Katajanokka terminal and vice versa. The following stops will not be served: "Senaatintori", "Aleksanterinkatu", "Ylioppilastalo", "Mikonkatu"

Tram 7 will run directly via Kaisaniemenkatu and the Central Railway Station. Kruununhaka will not be served.
The following stops will not be served: "Mikonkatu", "Aleksanterinkatu", "Senaatintori", "Hallituskatu", "Kansallisarkisto", "Snellmaninkatu"
