The opening parade of Helsinki Cup will affect tram routes 2, 4 and 7 as well as bus 24 on Monday evening 9 July 7.45pm-8.05pm. The parade will leave from the Kansalaispuisto Square and proceed along Mannerheimintie and Aleksanterinkatu to the Senate Square.
Diversions during to the parade about 7.30pm-8pm
Tram 2 will run in both directions via Kaivokatu and Mikonkatu.
- The “Ylioppilasalo” tram stops (0401 and 0402) will not be served.
Tram 4 will run via the Central Railway Station, Liisankatu and Snellmaninkatu, i.e. the tram will not serve Aleksanterinkatu and the Senate Square.
- The “Ylioppilastalo” (H0401 and H0402), “Aleksanterinkatu (H0403 and H0404) and “Senaatintori (H0405 and H0406) tram stops will not be served.
Tram 7 will run directly via Kaisaniemi, i.e. Kruununhaka will not be served.
- The following stops will not be served: “Snellmaninkatu” (H0454 and H0455), “Kansallisarkisto” (H0452 and H0453), “Hallituskatu” (H0450 and H0451), “Senaatintori” (H0405 and H0406), “Aleksanterinkatu” (H0403 and H0404), and “Mikonkatu” (H0424 and H0425).
In addition, there may be delays to bus 24 while the parade proceeds along Mannerheimintie. Other short delays are expected along the route.'
