There will be changes to bus services in Toukola, Arabianranta, Vanhakaupunki and Kumpula on 13 August. The changes affect routes 55 and 56.
Changes to route 55
Bus 55 will be rerouted between Kumpula campus and Kunnalliskodintie. In the future, the bus will run via Arabianranta and Vanhakaupunki (along Hämeentie and Koskelantie). The bus will no longer serve Kumpulan (Kustaa Vaasan tie – Pietari Kalmin katu – Gustaf Hällströmin katu – Väinö Auerin katu – Intiankatu – Koskelantie).
The bus will no longer serve the following stops: "Kumpulan kampus" (on Kustaa Vaasan tie), "A. I. Virtasen aukio", "Intiankatu", "Kumpula", "Joukolan puisto", "Valtimontie".
The change will provide a direct link from Arabianranta to Kalasatama.

Changes to route 56
As bus 55 will no longer serve Kumpulanmäki, bus 56 will start running via it (along Pietari Kalmin katu, Gustaf Hällströmin katu and Väinö Auerin katu).
The bus will no longer serve the "Sumatrantie" and "Intiankatu" bus stops. (H3077, H3078).

Route 71B withdrawn
Route 71B will be withdrawn. All services will be operated under route number 71. The route of bus 71 will not change.
