Significant number of buses operated by Pohjolan Kaupunkiliikenne Oy not running on Thu 4 October due to industrial action
Update 4 Oct 1.30pm. In the afternoon, about 50 per cent of buses operated by Pohjolan Kaupunkiliikenne are running in Helsinki and 25 per cent in Espoo. For example, bus 58 operates a nearly normal service. Passengers going to Espoonlahti can change to buses 124 and 125 in Niittykumpu. Bus services operated by Pohjolan Kaupunkiliikenne Oy in Helsinki, Espoo and Vantaa are not running on Thursday 4 October due to industrial action. The buses are not running from the beginning of morning service until Thursday night. Services operated by Pohjolan Liikenne Ab in Sipoo, Kirkkonummi and Tuusula run as usual.
The industrial action affects services particularly in Suur-Espoonlahti and Matinkylä in southern Espoo, between Tapiola and Leppävaara, services between southern Espoo and Jorvi, in Westend, Pakila and Paloheinä, Metsälä, Oulunkylä as well as crosstown services in Helsinki.
The following buses are not running:
61, 61T, 61N
On some routes, part of the services are operated depending on how many drivers are working despite the industrial action.
