HSL will be providing extra bus and Metro services and extra services on tram routes 5 and 7 as well as extra carriages to commuter trains during the pre-Christmas party season from 16 November to 16 December.
There will be extra bus services on Friday and Saturday nights. In addition, extra services will be running on the eve of Independence Day Wednesday 5 December, when a Friday service will operate.
There will be extra services on Helsinki internal routes 20N, 39N, 43, 61N, 65, 67, 67N, 77N, 78N, 84, 85N, 92N, 94N and 97N, on routes 112N, 113N, 114N, 125N, 147N, 231N and 235N serving Espoo as well as on routes 411, 421 and 431N serving Vantaa.
The Metro will be running two hours longer than usual on Friday and Saturday nights. However, Metro feeder services will operate as usual, with the exception of route 84 from Herttoniemi, which will have extra services.
Tram 5, which runs between the Central Railway Station and Katajanokka terminal, will run approximately every 8 minutes on Friday evenings, Saturdays and Sundays. Tram 7 will have additional services to the West Terminal on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
Extra bus and Metro services 16 November-16 December
Extra carriages will be added to the following commuter trains on Friday and Saturday nights 2 November-16 December:
- L trains from Helsinki at 11.38pm, 3.08am, 4.08am and from Kirkkonummi at 0.37am.
- P trains from Helsinki at 11.18pm and 11.48pm.
- N trains from Helsinki at 1.21am, 3.21am and from Kerava at 2.05am and 4.05am.
