Bus routes will be diverted in Maunula from Monday 4 March when Pirjontie will be closed to through traffic between Pakilantie and Pirkkolantie.
The diversions will affect routes 51, 52, 63, 550 and 552. Buses 52, 550 and 552 will run from Pakilantie to Pirkkolantie via Metsäpurontie. Bus 51 will be diverted to run along Metsäläntie and bus 63 will run to Maunula via Metsäläntie and Männikkötie.
The diversions are due to cable removal on Pirjontie. The diversion routes will be available in the Journey Planner in early February.
Diversion route of trunk bus 550
Bus 550 will be diverted between Tuusulanväylä and Pirkkola to run via Metsäpurontie. The bus will serve the "Maunulanmäki" stops on Metsäpurontie. In addition, the bus 550 will serve the "Paanutie" stop on Pakilantie in the direction of Itäkeskus to enable smooth transfers to buses 66 and 67.
The "Maunulanmäki" stops are located behind the S-market store on Pakilantie.
The following stops will not be served: "Maunula", "Pirjontie"
Diversion route of buses 52 and 552
Buses 52 and 552 will be diverted to run between Paanutie and Pirkkola via Metsäpurontie. The buses will serve the "Maunulanmäki", "Kuusikkotie" and "Metsäpuronkuja" stops on Metsäpurontie.
The "Maunulanmäki" stops are located behind the S-market store on Pakilantie.
The following stops will not be served: "Maunula", "Pirjontie", "Maunulantie"
Diversion route of bus 51
Bus 51 will be diverted to run between Vaskisepäntie (in Metsälä) and Thalianaukio (in Pohjois-Haaga) along Metsäläntie and Ilkantie. The bus will not serve Maunula and Pirkkola.
The following stops will not be served: "Niittyläntie", "Koivikkotie", "Vesakkotie", "Kuusikkotie", "Maunulanmäki", "Maunula", "Pirjontie", "Maunulantie", "Pirkkola", "Pirkkolan urheilupuisto", "Hämeenlinnanväylä", "Teuvo Pakkalan tie", "Aino Acktén tie"
Diversion route of bus 63
Bus 63 will be diverted between Laajasuontie and Vesakkotie to run via Metsäläntie and Männikkötie. The bus will not serve the northern end of Nuijamiestentie and Pirkkola.
The following stops will not be served: "Metsäläntie", "Santavuorentie", "Hämeenlinnanväylä", "Pirkkolan urheilupuisto", "Pirkkola", "Metsäpuronkuja"
