Tram routes 2, 4 and 7 will be diverted on the night of Tuesday 29 January 11.45pm-2.30 due to repair of overhead lines at the junction of Mannerheimintie, Toivonkatu and Eino Leinon katu.
There will be no tram service on the following sections of routes:
- Mannerheimintie between Helsinginkatu and Reijolankatu (trams 2 and 4)
- Pasila station – Länsi-Pasila – Nordenskiöldinkatu (trams 2 and 7)
Due to the short notice, no replacement buses will be available.
Diversion route of tram 2
Tram 2 will be diverted between Töölöntori and Länsi-Pasila. Länsi-Pasila will not be served.
The temporary terminus of the tram will be at Pasila station and the tram will run between Töölöntori and Pasila station from Helsinginkatu to Urheilutalo, Aleksis Kiven katu, Pasilan konepaja and Pasila station. In other words, the tram 2 will use the same route as tram 9 between Kotkankatu and Pasila station.
The following stops will not served: "Ooppera" (on Mannerheimintie), "Töölön halli", "Kansaneläkelaitos", "Auroran sairaala", "Eläintarha", "Palkkatilanportti", "Maistraatintori"
Diversion route of tram 4
Tram 4 will be diverted between Hesperianpuisto and Töölön tulli.
The tram will run in both directions along Helsinginkatu to Urheilutalo and via Alppila to Nordenskiöldinkatu.
The following stops will not be served: "Ooppera" (on Mannerheimintie), "Töölön halli", "Kansaneläkelaitos"
Diversion route of tram 7
Tram 7 will not run between Pasila station and Länsi-Pasila.
The tram will have a temporary terminus at Pasila station, from where it will leave in the direction of the West Terminal from the stop on the station side of the street and resume its normal route via Asemapäällikönkatu.
The following stops will not be stops: "Maistraatintori", "Kyllikinportti", "Pasilan asema" (Pasila station, on Ratapihantie on the Virastokeskus side of the street), "Messukeskus" (in the direction of West Terminal), "Kellosilta" (in the direction of West Terminal)
