The traditional truck parade of graduating high school students will take place in Helsinki on Thursday 14 Februar 1pm-2pm. The truck parade will start from Merisatama and proceed via Ehrenströmintie and Laivasillankatu to the actual parade route: Pohjoisesplanadi–Lönnrotinkatu–Hietalahdentori–Bulevardi–Yrjönkatu–Uudenmaankatu–Erottajankatu–Eteläesplanadi. Tram routes 1, 2, 3 and 6 will be diverted approximately 12.45pm-2pm.
<ul><li>Tram 1 will run via Aleksanterinkatu to the Olympia Terminal, from where it will continue to its terminus on Pursimiehenkatu.</li>
<li>Tram 2 will run to the terminus of tram 1 on Pursimiehenkatu.</li>
<li>Tram 3 will run from Mannerheimintie via Aleksanterinkatu to the terminus of tram 5 in Katajanokka.</li>
<li>Tram 6 will run via Simonkatu to Ruoholahdenkatu, from where it will continue to the turnaround in Salmisaari.</li>
</ul>The parade will also affect bus 21. The services from Vattuniemi 12.27pm-1.28pm will run to the terminus of bus 20 in Ruoholahti. Bus 21 will leave from Eira until 12.55pm and again from 2.24pm.
The event will affect traffic movement in downtown Helsinki.
