There will be changes to the entrances to Sörnäinen Metro Station when work on the redevelopment of Hämeentie starts on Monday 4 March. Entrances D and F will be permanently closed.
Entrance D is located in the middle of Hämeentie and it gives access to the tram stops that will be closed on the same day. When the redevelopment of Hämeentie is completed, the stops and tram tracks will have been relocated and the entrance will not be reopened. Entrance F is located by Hämeentie 27 and it will be replaced by a cycle lane. Entrance E, which is in the vicinity of the closed entrances, will remain open. The works will not affect metro services or the lifts at the station.
