Airport bus stops relocated and changes to routes from Wednesday 15 May

The bus station in front of Terminal 2 at Helsinki Airport will move from its current location by approximately 100 meters towards the airport office buildings in front of the Scandic hotel.

The relocation affects all HSL bus routes serving the airport, i.e. buses 415, 415N, 561, 562N, 615 and 617, as well as long-distance coaches. HSL buses use platforms 52 and 53, depending on which of them is available.

At the same time, the routes of the buses in the area will change. The buses will start running along Tietotie, Teletie and Lentäjäntie. Two new stops will be opened, “Teknikontie” (V5322) and “Lentoaseman juna.as.” (V5358, Airport train station). The “Ilmailutie” bus stops (V5301 and 5302) on Lentoasemantie and the “Teknikontie” bus stop (V5338) will no longer be served because of the route change.

There will be further changes to access routes also after 15 May. Passengers are advised to use caution in the area and follow the signs. The bus station escalator will be completed in May, providing easy access to the check-in-floor in Terminal 2.

The arrangements are related to the expansion of Terminal 2 currently underway. The arrangements will remain in place for approximately two years until the new entrance and new arrival and departure halls are completed in 2021.
