Additional transport services during the pre-Christmas party season 15 November-15 December

HSL will provide additional transport services during the pre-Christmas party season from 15 November to 15 December. The Metro will be running two hours longer than usual, i.e. until about 1.30am, on Friday and Saturday nights. There will also be additional late night bus services. The additional services will also operate on Thursday 5 December and on Independence Day, 6 December.

Additional Metro services

The Metro will run two hours longer than usual. The services will run every 20 minutes on the Matinkylä, Vuosaari and Mellunmäki sections and every 10 minutes between Tapiola and Itäkeskus.

The last Metro services:

  • M1 from Matinkylä to Vuosaari at 1.19am, from Kamppi to Vuosaari at 1.37am, from Vuosaari to Matinkylä at 1.05am and from the Central Railway Station to Matinkylä at 1.26am
  • M2 from Tapiola to Mellunmäki at 1.15am, from Kamppi to Mellunmäki at 1.27am and from Mellunmäki to Tapiola at 0.55am.

Metro feeder services will operate as usual, with the exception of route 84 from Herttoniemi, which will have additional services between 0.15am and 1.55am.

Additional bus services

There will be extra services on the following routes departing from Helsinki city center:

  • Helsinki internal routes 20N, 39N, 43, 61N, 65, 67, 77N, 78N, 85N, 92N, 94N and 97N,
  • Routes 112N, 113N, 114N, 125N, 147N, 231N and 235N serving Espoo
  • Routes 411, 421 and 431N serving Vantaa

In addition, commuter trains K, P and L will have extra carriages on Friday and Saturday nights until 15 December.
