Bus route 54, Itäkeskus (M)–Pitäjänmäki,will be diverted in Valimo from 10 August due to construction. The bus will run from Pitäjänmäentie via the Haaga roundabout to Karvaamokuja and Valimokuja. The “Valimotie” bus stop (H1601) will not be served. Instead, the bus will serve the “Valimotie” stops (H1515 and 1516) along the diversion route.
There are several utilities at the Valimotie intersection that will be replaced and relocated in conjunction with the construction work. Traffic on Pitäjänmäentie will be detoured to the north side of the intersection and buses will not be able to turn to Valimotie. The arrangements are associated with the construction of the Jokeri light-rail line.
