During the autumn school break between 12 and 18 October, about 4 per cent of commuter train services in the Helsinki region are cancelled. According to the train operator VR, the cancellations are due to tempopary temporary shortage of drivers caused by the autumn flu season and increased coronavirus testing. The cancellations are spread across different routes.
The aim is that consecutive services are not cancelled. Cancellations are posted on our website, hsl.fi, as well as on the HSL app.
