A and L trains to Helsinki will not stop at Ilmala station on Sunday 25 October between 6.30am and 11.35pm due to construction work at Pasila station.
In addition, I trains to Helsinki will not stop at ilmala station between 10am and 11.35pm.
The works will not affect northbound trains.
The Journey Planner has been updated with the changes. There will also be changes to departure platforms at Pasila station due to the track work. The Journey Planner shows the usual departure platforms for all trains, the changes are not updated in the system in real time. Alternative transport links
- From Ilmala, take bus 23, 23N or 59 from the Ilmalanrinne H2116 bus stop to Pasila station and change to train there.
The Ilmalanrinne stops (bays 15 and 16) can be accessed via stairs or lift in the middle of the station. Take the stairs or lift down to Ilmalanrinne (the street below the station) and walk about 200 meters westwards, i.e. away from the Posti's sorting center. - From Ilmala to Pasila and Helsinki by train: take a train to Huopalahti and change to a train going to Helsinki.
- From the direction of Huopalahti To Ilmala: take a train to Pasila and change to a train going in the opposite direction.
