Works to install a new information system that controls platform and timetable displays as well as announcements at train stations began yesterday at Leppävaara station. The works are carried out station by station. The layout of displays and the voice of the announcements will change. The new system will enable station information to be developed according to passengers wishes.
The system has previously been partly tested at Leppävaara station. There may be short-term disruptions to station information during the works.
The nationwide train station information system is managed by Finrail Oy
