Planned track work affecting train services to/from Ilmala station have been cancelled due to the weather conditions. Trains will stop at Ilmala and Pasila stations as usual Mon 11 January to Wed 13 January. The Journey Planner does not show the trains stopping at Ilmala on Monday night. For Tuesday night, the planner shows up-to-date information.
L, I and P trains in both directions will not stop at Ilmala station between Sunday 10 January and Wednesday 13 January 11.35pm to 5am due to track work.
In additional, there will be changes to the departure platforms of the trains at Pasila station as platforms 10 and 11 will be closed. Trains in the direction of Huopalahti will depart from platform 8 and trains in the direction of Helsinki will depart from platform 9.
At the Central Railway Station, platforms 18 and 19 will be closed from Saturday 9 January 11.15pm to Sunday 10 January 9.15am due to preparatory works for the construction of a pedestrian and cycle tunnel. Between 11.40pm and 6am, also platforms 17 and 18 will be closed. Coastal Line trains and trains to Myyrmäki will use other platforms.
The Journey Planner has been updated with the information of trains not stopping at Ilmala. However, the planner shows the usual departure platforms for train at Pasila station and the Central Railway Station, these changes are not updated in the system in real time. Other changes to departure platforms are possible. Please listen to station announcements and see the displays at the stations for up to date information.
Alternative transport links from Ilmala
Take bus 23 from the "Ilmalanrinne" or "Ilmalantori" bus stop to Pasila station and change to a train.
