Buses 550 and 552 will be rerouted in Otaniemi from Monday 1 March when the roundabout at the junction of Vuorimiehentie and Otaniementie is removed due to the construction of a light rail line.
Trunk route 550 will run in both directions via Tekniikantie, Vuorimiehentie, Miestentie and Tapiolantie. There will be no changes to stops served by trunk route 550.
Bus 552 will no longer serve the "Aalto-yliopisto (M)" stop (E2229, Aalto University stop at the metro station) in both directions. A new stop, "Luolamiehentie" (E2233) will be added on Otakaari (in the direction of Teekkarikylä). In the direction of Malmi, the closest stop is "Otaranta" (E2204) on Otaniementie.
Bus 111 to Teekkarikylä and night bus 108N to Westendinasema will also serve the new stop on Otakaari.
