Bus and train services when switching to summer time on 28 March

Finland will switch to summer time on the night of Saturday 27/Sunday 28 March. The clocks will go forward one hour at 3am on Sunday 28 March. There will be some service alterations.

Finland will switch to summer time on the night of Saturday 27/Sunday 28 March. The clocks will go forward one hour at 3am on Sunday 28 March.

Bus services will operate to winter time (Saturday service). In other words, also early morning services will operate to winter time. Beginning from Sunday morning service, services will operate to summer time.

On route 562N, (Mellunmäki – Tikkurila – Aviapolis – Airport), only a Sunday service will operate to summer time from 4am.

Commuter trains will depart on winter time until 3am and they will run to their end stations on summer time. Trains with departure times after 4am will mainly operate to summer time.

Exceptions:
On Sunday 28 March, the following trains will operate to winter time:
L trains from Helsinki to Kirkkonummi at 3.03am and 4.03am (i.e. they will depart at 4.03am and 5.03am summer time).
K trains from Helsinki to Kerava at 3.21am and 3.51am (i.e. they will depart at 4.21am and 4.51am summer time).
T train from Helsinki to Riihimäki at 4.21am (i.e. the train will depart at 5.21am summer time).

The 3.53am T train from Riihimäki will run on summer time, i.e. the train will depart from Riihimäki already at 2.53am on winter time (from Jokela at 4.13am summer time) and arrive in Helsinki at 5.09am on summer time.
