Tram and bus services on Mannerheimintie will be disrupted. Buses will not be able to run to Elielinaukio and Kamppi approximately between 8.30am and 10am.
The procession consisting of trucks will proceed along Mannerheimintie to the Parliament House, where it will stop for a moment. After that, the procession will move out of the city center.
There may be changes to traffic arrangement as the protest march proceeds and the protest will significantly affect traffic. Please allow extra time for your journeys in the morning.
Trams
Trams 1 and 2 will not be able to run via Arkadiankatu during the protest. Potential disruptions to traffic on Mannerheimintie will also affect trams 4, 10 and 8.
Tram diversions when the protest march proceeds to the Parliament House:
- Trams 4 and 10 run the route of tram 3 via Kallio (Kaarlenkatu) and Hakaniemi to the Central Railway Station
- Trams 1 and 8 run via Kallio (Kaarlenkatu) and Hakaniemi to the Central Railway Station
- Tram 2 runs the route of tram 9 back to Pasila
Buses to/from Elielinaukio
Buses 38, 40 and 43, trunk route 200, as well as routes 321, 322, 332, 345, 411, 415, 421, 431, 436 and 436K will run to the Mäntymäki Field. The “Kansallismuseo” (H1907), “Hesperian puisto” (H1908, H1909 and H1911) and “Töölön kisahalli” (H1914) stops will not be served.
Passengers going towards the city center from the Mäntymäki Field can take a tram towards Kamppi via Runeberginkatu or by change to a bus towards Kamppi at Töölön tulli.
Buses to/from Kamppi
Buses running from Kamppi via Mannerheimintie (63, 212, 213) will run via Runeberginkatu (Topeliuksenkatu, Haartmaninkatu) in both directions. The following stops will not be served: “Pohjoinen Rautatiekatu” (H1273), “Kansallismuseo” (H1906 and H1907), “Hesperian puisto” (H1908, H1909 and H1911), “Ooppera” (H1999), “Töölön kisahalli” (H1913, H1914 and H1915), “Kansaneläkelaitos” (H1916 and H1917) and “Töölön tulli” (H1918, H1919 and H1921).
