Tram routes 2 and 3 diverted on Saturday 10 April from 6pm

Tram routes 2 and 3 will be diverted in the southern districts of Helsinki on Saturday evening 10 April from 6pm due to urgent excavation work. There will no tram service between Eira Hospital and the Market Square.

Tram routes 2 and 3 will be diverted in the southern districts of Helsinki on Saturday evening 10 April from 6pm until the end of service due to urgent excavation work. 

Tram 2 will run to the Market Square via Arkadiankatu, Mannerheimintie, Aleksanterinkatu and Unioninkatu.

From the Market Square, the tram will run under route number 3 via Katariinankatu, Aleksanterinkatu and Mannerheimintie to Kaivokatu, from where the tram will join its normal route via Kallio to Meilahti.

Tram 3 will run to Eiraa via Mannerheimintie, Bulevardi, Fredrikinkatu, Laivurinkatu and Tehtaankatu, terminating at the terminus of tram 1 on – Pursimiehenkatu.

From Pursimiehenkatu, the tram will take the same route back under route number 2 and continue via Töölö to Pasila.

The following stops will not be served "Eiran sairaala" (Eira Hospital, in the direction of the Olympia Terminal, H0443), "Kapteeninkatu" (H0441 and H0440), "Neitsytpolku" (H0439 and H0438), "Kaivopuisto" (H0437 and H0436), the terminus "Olympiaterminaali" (H0435 and H0434) and "Eteläranta" (H0433 and H0432). At the Market Square, the trams will use stop H0429, i.e. stops H0430 (in the direction of the Olympia Terminal) and H0431 (in the direction of Ylioppilastalo) will not be served on Saturday evening.

The southern districts are served by buses 14, 18, 18N and 24, as well as by tram 10 to Tarkk’ampujankatu.

On Sunday morning, the trams will run as usual.
