Bus route 43 to be withdrawn from 16 August, service replaced by trunk bus route 40 and bus route 52

There will be many changes to bus routes in West Helsinki as well as changes to crosstown bus routes at the start of the autumn timetable season, 16 August. Bus route 43 will be withdrawn from 16 August. In Haaga, the route will be replaced by new trunk bus route 40 and in Hakuninmaa and Kuninkaantammi, the route will be replaced by frequently running crosstown bus route 52.

There will be many changes to bus routes in West Helsinki as well as changes to crosstown bus routes at the start of the autumn timetable season, 16 August.

Bus route 43 will be withdrawn from 16 August.

In Haaga, the route will be replaced by the new trunk bus route 40, which will be operated with electric articulated buses.

On Perhekunnantie and in Kuninkaantammi, bus route 43 will be replaced by crosstown bus route 52. Route 52 will run from Kuninkaantammi via Kannelmäki and Huopalahti station to Otaniemi. The route will be turned into a frequently running crosstown route serving West Helsinki, which will provide new links to trains and other trunk route services.

At nighttime, Kuninkaantammi will be served by bus route 436N (Elielinaukio – Kuninkaantammi – Myyrmäki – Kalajärvi).
