I train services are gradually returnig to normal from about 9am but service changes are possible until noon on 22 July.

Update: The switch problem has been fixed and services are returning to normal from about 9am.

I trains did not stop at stations between Oulunkylä and Tikkurila on the morning of 22 July due to a switch failure. The problem was fixed by 8.55am.

The services are gradually returning to normal from about 9am but service changes are possible until noon.

 

 

You can travel to Pukinmäki, Malmi, Puistola and Tapanila by changing trains at Tikkurila or Oulunkylä stations; take a train going in the opposite direction. Passengers travelling by I train to Tikkurila and changing to a P train there are exceptionally permitted to travel via Tikkurila on AB ticket. 

Alternatively, you can take bus 69 which runs from Kamppi via Pasila, Käpylä, Oulunkylä and Pukinmäki to Malmi. Use the Journey Planner to find other alternatives.

How to exclude a mode of transport from the search results in the browser version of the Journey Planner

  1. Make a search and open the Settings menu in the route search.
  2. A new Settings field will open where you can exclude a mode of transport from the search results by sliding the button next to the mode of transport. Switch off only those modes of transport you want to exclude from the search.
  3. Close the menu. The new settings will be saved automatically. The Journey Planner will now show you alternative transport links for your route.
