Route and operating hours of bus route 24 to be shortened and new route 25 to start from 16 August

There will be many changes to bus routes in West Helsinki and in the central city area at the start of the autumn timetable season, 16 August. The route and operating hours of bus route 24 will be shortened from 16 August. The bus will run from Kamppi via Hietaniemi to Seurasaari. It will no longer serve the southern districts. A new bus route, 25, will start running from Kamppi via Mechelinkatu to Pajamäki.

There will be many changes to bus routes in West Helsinki and in the central city area at the start of the autumn timetable season, 16 August.

The southern section of route of bus 24 from Kamppi to Merikatu will be withdrawn to deliver cost-savings. The new route is Kamppi bus terminal – Hietaniemi – Seurasaari. The operating hours of bus route 24 will also be shortened. During the summer months, the bus will run more frequently with longer operating hours.

Trams 2, 3 and 10 as well as the new trunk bus routes 20 and 30 will replace the southern section of route of bus 24.

A new bus route, 25, will start running from Kamppi bus terminal via Mechelininkatu and Paciuksenkatu to Pajamäki. It will provide new transport links to Töölö and to the western part of the Meilahti Hospital area. The route will also replace the service of route 24, whose operating hours are shortened.

Buses 24 and 25 will depart from bay 47 at the Kamppi local bus terminal.
