Terminus of bus route 506 to move to Ruskeasuo on 16 August The bus will start running via Viikinmäki.

There will be many changes to bus routes in West Helsinki as well as changes to crosstown bus routes at the start of the autumn timetable season, 16 August. The terminus of bus route 506 will move from Meilahti Hospital to Invalidisäätiö in Ruskeasuo. The bus will be rerouted to run via Pihlajisto and Viikinmäki.

There will be many changes to bus routes in West Helsinki as well as changes to crosstown bus routes at the start of the autumn timetable season, 16 August.

The terminus of bus route 506 will move from Meilahti Hospital to Invalidisäätiö in Ruskeasuo. Bus route 506 will replace bus 23, which will no longer serve Invalidisäätiö. The bus will also provide new direct links from the northern end of Mannerheimintie to Pasila.

Meilahti Hospital will continue to be served by frequently running trunk route buses 500 and 510, which run along Tukholmankatu.

At the same time, bus 506 will be rerouted to run via Pihlajisto and Viikinmäki, improving crosstown transport links in these areas. Latokartano and Viikki will continue to be served by trunk route bus 550 and crosstown bus route 57, which will start running more frequently.

Ruskeasuo – Pasila – Kumpula – Viikinmäki - Myllypuro
