At Pasila station, platform 11 will be closed from Saturday 16 October 11.40pm to Monday 18 October 5am due to track work. The closure will cause also changes to train services at Ilmala station and some trains to Helsinki will not stop at Ilmala station.
During the closure, L, A and I trains to as well as L, A and P trains in the direction of Huopalahti will use platforms 9 and 10 at Pasila station. At Ilmala station, trains will only use platform 3. For detailed information, see the station displays and listen to the announcements.
Trains not stopping at Ilmala station
On the night of Saturday 16 October/Sunday 17 October
- L train from Siuntio at 0.08am, which would normally stop at Ilmala station at 0.55am
From Sunday morning 17 October to late evening
- L trains from Kirkkonummi between 5.57am and8.57am and at 10.37pm, which would normally stop at Ilmala station between 6.35am and 9.35am and at 11.15pm
- All A trains to Helsinki (i.e. departures from Leppävaara between 9.56am and 10.26pm)
- I trains from Helsinki to Tikkurila between 9.06am and 10.36pm, which would normally stop at Ilmala station between 10am and 11.30pm
On the night of Sunday 17 October/Monday 18 October and on Monday morning
- L train from Siuntio at 0.08am, which would normally stop at Ilmala station at 0.55am
- L from Kirkkonummi at 3.57am, which would normally stop at Ilmalas station at 4.35am
Alternative transport links to/from Ilmala
- From Ilmala to Pasila and Helsinki: take a train to Huopalahti and change to a train going in the opposite direction
- From the direction of Leppävaara and Myyrmäki to Ilmala: change to a train going in the opposite direction at Pasila station
- You can also take bus 23 from Ilmala to Pasila station. Bus 23 serves the stops right under Ilmala station.
